What courses are taught at BFIS?

The school welcomes students from 3 to 18 years old, from Kindergarten to Baccalaureate/High School. In the last two years of Baccalaureate, BFIS offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP). In addition, the school is implementing the IB MYP (Middle Years Programme) program from grades 6 to 10. Today we have 715 students of 56 nationalities and a teaching team of 101 professionals.

What differentiates the center from other schools?

We are a medium-sized school with a very involved, committed and participatory school community. Other elements that define us are the agility to implement the best educational practices, multiculturalism and international experience, sustainability, the active role of students and exhaustive university and work guidance to make informed decisions about their future.

Not only can it, but it is necessary. As an educational center, our mission is to prepare our students to thrive in a volatile, unpredictable and complex world. Innovation is not just an option; is a local and global mandate for our students to develop solutions to the world's great challenges now and in the future. Here at BFIS, we have provided innovative changes to our curriculum, such as experiential learning, innovation and entrepreneurship classes, student-led learning, and the use of rapidly evolving technologies.

What are the future challenges of the center?

First, we must embrace the continued evolution of higher education and the world of work, and integrate practices in which students develop skills and knowledge that prepare them for a changing landscape in a real-world context. The critical challenges lie in providing a progressively personalized learning experience and tailoring education to students' individual abilities, skills, and interests. Secondly, we would highlight building strong connections between education and the dynamic labor market. We have begun to cultivate links with industry and higher education more deeply, ensuring that students are not only well prepared academically but also equipped for a smooth transition into higher education and the workforce.
