Eight dead and four injured on Spanish roads this weekend

Eight people have died and another four have been injured in the eight traffic accidents that have occurred throughout this weekend on Spanish roads, as reported by the General Directorate of Traffic (DGT) in the provisional balance that covers from 3:00 p.m. on Friday to 8:00 p.m. this Sunday.

For days, a 21-year-old person died on Friday in Larraun (Navarra) on the A-15 and another was injured, of the same age, after leaving, crashing and later overturning a car.

Saturday was the most sinister day, with five accidents and five deaths. In Fuente el Saz de Jarama (Madrid) a 45-year-old person died on the M-117 due to a head-on collision between two cars; In the Seville municipality of Dos Hermanas, another 44-year-old person lost his life in a collision between a van and a car.

On the same day, in Magallón (Zaragoza), an 80-year-old deceased was registered due to a frontal-lateral collision between a bicycle and a car; In Vilaflor de Chasna (Tenerife) another 58-year-old person died from a motorcycle coming off the road; In Romangordo (Cáceres) a 45-year-old person died due to the off-road and crash of a motorcycle.

Finally, this Sunday there have been two fatal accidents with three injuries. One in Iznalloz (Granada) on the A-44 that has left a person dead after leaving the road and crashing a car; In Calzada del Coto (León) another 49-year-old person has died and three people aged 27, 4 and 33 have been injured due to the exit of the road and the overturning of a car.
