For the second consecutive year, the gala will be held in Lleida in an exhibition to decentralize this event that recognizes the best musical programming, artists, group tours, among others.
The president of the ARC association, Raquel Basses, has highlighted the objective "of spreading culture" throughout Catalonia and added that the ProARC conference will be held again, which aims to establish contacts between promoters, programmers and administrations to offer musical proposals.
The 2023 ARC Awards have nominated 48 proposals distributed in 12 different categories.
Raquel Basses explained at a press conference that these categories do not change in relation to previous years, but that the festival category has been divided into two to differentiate between large format festivals and small ones.
The nominees in the artist or group revelation category are Triquell, La Cosina, Mushkaa and Flashy Ice Cream; in the best jazz artist or group tour, classical music or traditional music are Les Anxoves, Alba Careta, Lucia Fumero and Irene Reig;; The Tyets, Las Migas, Mojinos Escozíos and Buhos are found in the best tour by an artist or group of their own authorship; in the best tour by an artist or group for a family audience, El Pot Petit, La gira dels 25 – Dàmaris Gelabert
As for the best international tour by artist or group, the nominees are Che Sudaka, Barcelona Gipsy balKan Orchestra ((BGKO), la Pegatina and Love Of Lesbian.
