These are the happiest hours, according to a study

Many people will probably agree that their worst moment of the week is Monday when the alarm goes off. One more week, we get up to get ready and start working. Thus, the work and personal demands to which we have to respond almost constantly take over the hours of our days. For this reason and in the midst of this maelstrom of responsibilities, we can often overlook the search for happy moments that contribute to our emotional well-being. But, oddly enough, we have happy hours throughout the day. And now a study has revealed which are the happiest hours of the day when our happiness reaches its peak and where we enjoy our life the most.

A study published by the Journal of Personality carried out on more than 5,400 people in 20 different countries has confirmed that there is a time when human beings feel happiest. That time is 7:00 p.m. It is likely that the choice of that time period is not a coincidence. At that moment, many people have already left work, are on their way home (or have already arrived) and it may be the moment when they can enjoy their personal leisure. However, not only is the specific time enough, professionals also agree that it is necessary to carry out a series of activities in order to be happier.

Having good, strong and consolidated social relationships can be the key to being happier for longer according to experts. Research carried out by Harvard University and collected and explained in this La Vanguardia report set out to find the answer to the long-awaited question “what makes human beings happier?” After years of study, experts present a clear answer: have good and strong social connections with the people around us. The study discovers that human connections are essential if we want to enjoy good emotional health that helps us live longer. “People who are more isolated than they would like find their health deteriorating sooner than those who feel connected to others. "Lonely people also live fewer years." they say in the study. This research is the result of more than three decades of analysis of thousands of people.
