The theater of gestures, dance and the circus flood the streets of Isona

Isona (Pallars Jussà) celebrates the 3rd edition of FART, Street Performing Arts Festival. During the next days 21, 22 and 23 July you can enjoy a varied program made up of family theatre, dance, puppetry, gestural theatre, improvisation, circus and clowning.

FART is a diverse, fresh and innovative festival that decorates the squares of Isona with fabrics, stages and art for three days. The opening act will be performed by Quim Llisorgas, a young up-and-coming actor who has participated in TV3's Com si fos ahir series for three seasons and in the theater field has successfully starred in an autobiographical play Entre tu i jo no fem en un, together with Ester Nadal and Marc Pinyol.

In this edition of the festival you can enjoy a total of twelve shows and a children's play facility at very low prices, where the public can opt for a single ticket per day or a pass for three days.

A total of six public spaces will form the festival stages, where through the integration of the elements of the environment, stages will be created with a special look and added symbolism that will make the public especially enjoy the diversity of street performances. The Plaza de la Iglesia will become the nerve center of the festival where there will be a 0 km bar and restaurant service from the town's restaurants and food trucks from Pallars.

In this third edition, the FART aims to consolidate itself as one of the leading performing arts festivals in the Pyrenees. A festival devised by the Isonense actor Ivan Caelles and promoted jointly with Sisco Amorós with whom they make up the direction of the cartamen, under the organization of the municipality's council and invaluable collaboration of the Isona Study Center.

An artistic seed that, in the absence of a stable cultural program, claims that residents can have guaranteed access to culture. A proposal that captures the feeling of being Fart and not having to go outside the municipality to enjoy a professional show. Therefore FART, a word widely used in Pallaresa, in addition to the pun Fa Art, has ended up becoming the ideal name for the festival.
