The user @rekadista through his TikTok profile has managed to turn viral on the platform after sharing the price of the menu at the AIALA Hostel School, owned by Karlos Arguiñano in Zarautz, Guipúzcoa.
At first glance, many might think that this may have an exorbitant price due to the cache of the well-known chef. However, the menu of the day, consisting of an appetizer, two starters, a main course and dessert, costs 23 euros, pleasantly surprising a wide audience due to the accessibility of this price.
The menu shows a falafel appetizer with tzatziki, followed by a Caesar salad with free-range chicken supreme as the first starter, and steamed vegetables sautéed with pea sauce and low-temperature egg as the second starter.
The main course consists of a taco of cow cheek stewed in red wine accompanied by a candied carrot emulsion. Finally, as a dessert option, a creamy chocolate with milk ice cream and caramelized raspberries is offered.
The surprise of the price is reflected in the comments made by the user in the video: "Pay attention to the price: 23 euros," the user states without reservation, describing it as a "menu of 90 for 23 euros." In an additional comment, he adds that this amount covers the entire meal, including wine and water, with coffee as an additional cost.
