With Halloween just around the corner, it's the perfect time to immerse yourself in the dark and fascinating world of horror. From chilling stories based on true events to adaptations of classic stories, such as Stephen King's The Boogeyman. These are the series, movies and documentaries that premiere this October on streaming platforms.

Russell Crowe plays Father Gabriele Amorth, writer and Vatican exorcist from 1986 to 2016. Inspired by true events, the film follows this priest as he investigates the terrifying possession of a child and ends up uncovering a secular conspiracy that the Vatican was trying to hide.

After opening the Sitges festival, Paco Plaza's (REC) film will have its big debut on platforms. The prequel to Verónica (2017) portrays the story of Narcisa (Aria Bedmar), a young novice with supernatural powers who begins to work as a teacher in an old convent.

The latest installment of the Conjuring universe. The plot takes place four years after the first. Sister Irene (Taissa Farmiga) has moved to Italy with the intention of living a quiet life in a convent. However, she will once again come face to face with the demon Valak.
