Sant Vicenç de Montalt (Maresme) will hold the first 'El Tast del Montalt' microtheater competition on May 18, organized by the Department of Culture, Festivals and Traditions of the City Council. It is an innovative and cultural proposal, which has attracted the attention of authors from all over Catalonia.
In this first edition, a total of 45 theatrical proposals have been received, which have a maximum duration of 25 minutes, of which five will be performed on May 18 in unique spaces in Sant Vicenç de Montalt.
During this month of March, the jury will choose the five works that will be staged and will award the winner of the competition a prize of 500 euros. In addition, there will be another prize of 500 euros that will be decided by popular vote. In total, the competition will distribute 2,500 euros among the five finalist proposals.
