Pets are not just our friends, the truth is that they can become true members of the family. This is the case of little River Charleigh Shell, a girl who has grown up with her canine siblings, five German shepherd dogs named Koba, Meeka, Ryker, Kal and Brenna.
River was born on November 17, 2021 and since his arrival in the world he has shared everything with his dog family, often imitating some of the behaviors of his pets. His mother published some images on the TikTok platform in which we can see the little girl behaving in a very curious way.
Growing up surrounded by pets has multiple benefits for children, who will grow up with special respect for animals and with an extra dose of affection. River Charleigh has become one of the pack that is part of her family and her parents have wanted to show it through her TikTok account, @von.jakob.
Her parents have explained that little River's first words were not "mom" or "dad", but the names of her five dogs. In the video we can see the girl, just one year and two months old, walking on all fours and playing with her dog's feeder and drinker.
"I should have called her Mowgli," the parents write in the description of the video, which has not taken long to go viral on the platform. "My daughter has grown up with five dogs and sometimes I think she thinks she's a dog," the post read. Little River's family also shows on Instagram how integrated her daughter is among her dog brothers.
