Mo attracts attention wherever he goes. This pit bull was rescued by Kristin, a woman who had never had a pet before, but she did not hesitate to take in this friendly dog with a striking peculiarity: it does not bark, but rather "screams like a velociraptor."
Every time he gets scared or wants to attract attention, Mo raises his particular voice, which is reminiscent of the screech of a "velociraptor" or "Tyrannosaurus Rex", according to what his owner tells The Dodo portal. She claims that it resembles anything but the conventional sound of a dog, even going so far as to say that it resembles the "scream of a woman."
Mo arrived in a very special way to this young woman's house. The dog was in a shelter. Kristin claims that he was sad, as if he were depressed or sick. She couldn't stand seeing him like that and she decided to adopt him. She had a feeling that she had to be part of her family, because she met him on the same day that her father, who died when she was 16, had her birthday.
But when he got home he changed completely. Now, he is a dog full of vitality and energy, who loves to play with his owner and other dogs. During all this time, he has received classes to overcome his fears and recognize basic commands.
However, there is something that has not changed: his bark-like screams. Mo continues to react like this when he doesn't like something or when he is afraid, whether sitting in his car seat, of passers-by or of dogs that bother him too much.
This pitbull is one lucky dog. He has gone from a state of constant sadness to not missing an outing with his owner, from whom he is never separated, neither outside nor inside the house. A token of gratitude for everything you have done for him.
