The festival's connection with the public will be expanded thanks to the celebration of the Tot celebrant Tete concert on July 1, coinciding with the double anniversary of the 25th anniversary of his death and the 90th anniversary of the godfather of the festival. A performance to which the Andorra Jazz Campus will be added, some meetings that will be held on the weekend of July 1 and 2 with the aim of bringing the invited artists closer to the music students of the principality, in an initiative that is open to the public .

Originally created in 1985, the festival disappeared in 2005 to come back to life in 2017 to commemorate the tenth anniversary of Tete Montoliu's death. That year the activities of Jazz al carrer were recovered during the first half of July, as the first step for the recovery in 2022 of the complete program that took place in the 38th edition of the festival, with the performance of Ron Carter , Mario Biondi, Joan Chamorro or Sílvia Pérez Cruz among other artists.

The Cònsol Major of Escaldes, Rosa Gili, highlighted during the presentation of the festival that last year it could be celebrated "as it had been in its beginnings" and it worked very well, both for the Andorran and foreign public. A success that this year they want to repeat, attracting more visitors from both sides of the Pyrenees.
