We are used to seeing how dogs play with other dogs in parks, on the streets or in any other corner. Some even get along well with cats, but they can also establish a friendly relationship with other animals, such as parrots.
That is the case of a dog that ended up becoming inseparable from a parrot that he rescued on the street. The family took in the bird, which needed time to recover.
In all those weeks, Milo did not leave Cracker, as the parrot was named. The dog spent hours attached to the bird's cage, to which they provided all the care until he was able to be autonomous. He just needed to fly, but he didn't dare, according to the story collected by The Dodo portal.
Once recovered, Milo and Cracker were inseparable. The parrot came down from his cage every day, to the joy of the dog. As strange as it may seem, they spent long periods of time playing together and even made a space in the dog's bed to rest.
The least expected day, Cracker took flight and they didn't hear from him again. According to the owner, Milo was constantly looking for his friend. He would sit in front of his cage waiting for him to appear. "He was a part of the family," says the owner.
However, one day luck changed. They saw an advertisement on social media saying that they had found a parrot and it was Cracker. The bird returned home and the two animals' afternoons of play also returned.
