The Alicante firefighters carried out a very special rescue last Friday. The team of professionals went to Serra Gelada (Benidorm) to rescue a dog that was "tired" of walking with its owners in the mountains.
During the walk, the golden retriever began to feel tired, resulting in acute pain in his hind legs that prevented him from moving them. Faced with this situation, its owners turned to emergency services, observing that the dog could not reach the car on its own.
Given the delicate state of the dog, his family tried to lower him to the car without success, so the fire team went to the area to intervene with professional equipment in his rescue.
The professionals used a stretcher and a canine harness to hold him on the platform, thus transferring the dog to the vehicle, as they have shown on social networks. "May it get better soon," the firefighters wished the animal in their official report.
This scene has caused endless comments on networks: "That is paid for with taxes, the same taxes that support a dog that is used in rescues to rescue people, and then no one complains. And try to carry a 35-35 kg dog in your arms, let's see how long you can last," defends one user.
