Criminal laughter: Hache, Morgade, Harlem and Piedrahita present 'Dangerous Minds'

What do Eva Hache, Ana Morgade, Leo Harlem and Luis Piedrahita have in common? The question may sound like a joke but they wanted to respond with the show Dangerous Minds where humor explores its limits until occasionally touching its most acidic and even criminal side. The show, which has already sold more than 48,000 tickets while supplies last, will premiere this Saturday, March 16 at the Auditori Fòrum CCIB in Barcelona with two sessions, one at 6 p.m. and another at 9 p.m., directed by Hache and Morgade together with the special presence of Harlem and Piedrahita.

The 90-minute work tells the story of a series of comedians from the "School of National Comedy": sharp, pizpireta, creative and, as they warn, also dangerous minds. In this assortment of criminally witty voices, the show combines image, light and sound to give the piece a comic texture, all at the service of the joke. The show written and directed by Label Negra Producciones presents a starting point to give people something to talk about and joke about: alumni reunions.

Time is a bad joke and the infinite joke always appears when talking about alumni reunions. The comic punch increases when the students come from the “comedy school.” They, the protagonists of the show Dangerous Minds, are interested in getting together to have dinner, celebrate, drink, dance, but above all to get the comic relief of seeing that the rest have had worse years, a real cause for celebration.

Eva Hache and Ana Morgade head the bill as hosts of the show, accompanied by two different artists in each of the cities they will visit, always in venues with capacity for more than a thousand seats. Throughout the tour, comedians such as Leo Harlem, Carolina Iglesias, Álex Clavero, JJ Vaquero, Luis Piedrahita, Silvia Abril, David Cepo, Omayra Cazorla, Xosé A. Touriñán and Javier Cansado will be seen.

Tickets for Barcelona are on sale on the show's official website from 30 euros.
