Last Saturday, February 3, 75 members of the Vanguardia Club, along with their companions, exclusively visited the exhibition “AI: artificial intelligence” hosted by the CCCB (Centre for Contemporary Culture of Barcelona). An immersive experience that immersed attendees in the fascinating and increasingly less unknown world of AI, inviting them to reflect on the opportunities, risks and threats posed by this technology.
The evening began with a warm welcome at the Auditori, where Lluís Nacenta, curator of the exhibition, shared his deep knowledge of the exhibition and highlighted the growing presence of artificial intelligence in everyday life, from both a political and social point of view. , cultural and artistic. Nacenta also highlighted that it is an informative and interactive exhibition, as attendees were immediately able to see first-hand.
Subscribers had the opportunity to take a private tour of the exhibition and experienced first-hand the uses and applications of AI in different fields through the 25 immersive installations. From smelling the flowers of an extinct tree to putting voice to a musical composition, each experience provided a unique and insightful perspective on the potential of this technology.
The visit not only allowed guests to delve into the advances and achievements driven by AI, but also raised questions about its future and its role in society.
Attendees came away with a deeper understanding of the complexity and pervasiveness of AI. These topics were the focus of conversations during the aperitif, which ended an evening full of knowledge.
