'Catalan dream': the Ítaca festival announces The Tyets, Mushka and Julieta in Times Square

New York already knows that The Tyets, Mushka and Julieta, three groups on the rise in Catalan urban music, are the first three confirmed artists who will be part of the billboard at the Ítaca festival. Or at least everyone who has passed through Times Square these days, the epicenter of the city of high-rises, knows it, where this particular Catalan dream team has been announced, since that is what they have named it.

The festival thus announces its brand new first artists while they explain that "Íthaca is the Catalan dream", the desire of people who enjoy the music of Catalonia. As is customary, the event will be held in L'Estartit, on the beach of this town on the Costa Brava, during the celebration of the eve of Sant Joan.

The Ítaca festival has become one of the busiest stages on the night of Sant Joan in recent years. This 2024, after having sold more than 500 tickets before even presenting the "Catalan dream", they expect it to be an even more crowded night.

Last year, the festival closed its doors with more than 15,000 attendees, one of the five paid festivals on the Costa Brava with the largest audience.
