'Blood on the lips': violence, sex and bodybuilding

The British Rose Glass surprised five years ago with her debut film Santa Maud, a psychological and Catholic horror drama about a traumatized nurse that raised expectations and received good reviews. Now, with this Blood on her lips, she raises the level of provocation. And this time she has nothing religious about her.

The film starring Kristen Stewart and Katy O'Brian is a very torrid and violent lesbian thriller with surreal touches and sprinkled with sweat, guns, blood and excess that takes the viewer on a lysergic journey through a deep America at the end of the eighties. And all because of an explosive romance between a lonely gym manager and a bodybuilder with a shady past who will face a dangerous patriarchy headed by Ed Harris with the look of Santiago Segura.
