It all starts when Opal found an abandoned duck egg lying on the ground. After realizing that the egg was fertilized, the family decided to start raising it with the aim of keeping the young as a pet.
Weeks after finding it abandoned, the egg finally hatched and Starlight appeared, a little duck who quickly won the hearts of her new family thanks to her charisma and ability to convey affection.
After learning about the life of ducks and discovering that these animals need to socialize with other specimens of their species to have a full life, the family decided to adopt two more birds, Stormie and Rain.
Since then, the three ducks live happily and grow up next to Opal, the girl who has become their best friend, taking care of them and playing with them every day.
