Spain is experiencing one of the hottest summers in its history, with record temperatures in many parts of Spain and torrid nights in some cities, where it is not easy to fall asleep. Given these records, all that remains is to take shelter from the heat in the central hours of the day, use a fan or air conditioning, and cool off as many times as necessary.

Dogs also suffer from high temperatures. And your option to relieve the heat is to take a good dip in a public fountain. That is what a dog has done in Ourense. To the surprise of neighbors and tourists, the dog got into the fountain in the central Plaza del Hierro in Ourense last Saturday.

The animal was trying to alleviate the heat left by 32.4 degrees, the second highest temperature in all of Galicia, equaled with the Ourense municipality of Arnoia, according to the local newspaper El Faro de Vigo.

The dog soaked, played and did not want to get out of the water, despite the insistence of its owner. He did not stop running and there was no one to catch him. He also did not respond to the requests of the owner, who asked him to leave, as can be seen in the video that has gone viral after being shared on Twitter by the SOS Grandparents account. The clip already has almost two hundred thousand reproductions.

The owner had no choice but to enter the fountain in this central square in Ourense. She jumped over the wall, grabbed the dog and got it out, to the applause of the neighbors and tourists. But the joy did not last long. Shortly after leaving, the animal hit two runs, moved away from the girl and went back into the water, to the smiles of those gathered there.

At the second, although against his will, the dog came out of the fountain in the Plaza del Hierro in Ourense. This time the owner did not let go. She grabbed him by the collar and led him to the area where she was sitting to leash him. At least, the soaking is not taken away by anyone.
