Isabel Díaz Ayuso is one of the most mediatic women. The leader of the Popular Party in the Community of Madrid makes hundreds of headlines every week due to her statements and her political decisions.
This week, the Madrid leader has become news due to a complaint from the Madrid Provincial Prosecutor's Office that has affected her current partner, Alberto González Amador.
As eldiario.es uncovered this Tuesday morning, the current partner of the president of the Community of Madrid defrauded the Treasury of 350,951 euros between 2020 and 2021, as stated in the complaint presented in court on March 5 after receiving a report from the Tax Agency.
After hundreds of comments on networks and on television talk shows about González's alleged fraud, Ayuso expressed her discomfort at this accusation: "I have been enduring this for five years, since they received me with a Commission of Investigation against my family (... ) Now it was the groom's turn."
The accusation speaks of González's financial activity in a specific period of time between 2020 and 2021. Taking into account that the health technician's relationship with Ayuso was made public in May 2021, it is unknown if the alleged criminal acts were carried out in their entirety before meeting politics.
On the other hand, different media also published this Tuesday that the couple has bought an apartment in Chamberí jointly and that said acquisition could have been made with the money that the man defrauded the Treasury.
Another of the great controversies has arisen around the Maserati that Alberto González bought in 2021, according to the Ser chain, since the Andalusian acquired the vehicle, valued at more than 80,000 euros, in the name of the company that is now being investigated for tax fraud and falsification of invoices.
The acquisition of the luxury car occurred when González was already involved in politics, which is why it has become the subject of controversy. In addition, Ayuso could have used said vehicle for different official events. On one occasion, Ayuso arrived at the acclaimed Puerta del Hierro Club aboard a car from the same company and with a companion who at that time the media present did not identify. As Informalia revealed at the time, those present were left speechless with the convertible, which caused a lot of talk for days.
According to official data from the Madrid City Council to which Ser has had access, González parks the Maserati in a parking space located in Chamberí and accumulates different debts: the mechanical traction vehicle tax of the Madrid City Council for the annuities of the year 2022 and 2023 (563.65 euros) and six traffic fines with a total value of 424.32 euros.
