Ugo, Maite Galdeano's ex-husband, recalls in 'First Dates' the peculiar reason for their breakup: ''Sofía put a trap door on me''

New program of the Cuatro love space. First Dates has reopened its doors to welcome several couples who have wanted to come to the space presented by Carlos Sobera to try to find their soul mate or at least have an unforgettable experience.

Today the dating show had a very special guest. Ugo, Maite Galdeano's ex-husband, wanted to go to First Dates to try to find love. The 48-year-old Nigerian arrived at the restaurant surprising Carlos Sobera.

The bachelor said that he arrived in Spain in a boat and that it was a very difficult and dangerous trip. ''You couldn't see anything except the sea that meets the sky and that is very scary. You are there praying to God because anything can happen to him,'' he recounted. Ugo also explained that they received him very well in Spain. The presenter recalled that he had been married to one of the most famous faces on Telecinco, Maite Galdeano.

''Yes, that has made me famous,'' commented the diner. "That has made you famous, I know you for being the husband of Maite Galdeano," Sobera told him. The bachelor seemed to doubt the answer. ''Didn't you remember her?'', he would ask her. Ugo laughed and confessed to having been in love with her. ''We met more than 5 or 6 years ago. We got married and then we got divorced,'' he explained.

Carlos Sobera was very interested in knowing what was the reason for their separation. '' Sofía, his daughter, put a trap door for me. She posed as someone else's profile,'' he confessed. The bachelor then tried to flirt with that profile and Sofía Suescun told her mother everything. ''I tried to explain to her mother that not everything you talk about on the internet in the end you do,'' she declared.

The presenter stressed that since then Maite Galdeano has always wanted to be alone. Despite her controversial breakup, Ugo wanted to have some nice words for his ex-partner. ''Maite Galdeano is very affectionate because she gives all of herself and is very sincere and very smiling, which is what I like the most in a girl,'' the diner recounted.
