This is the fortune that Jordi González charges for presenting 'Lazos de sangre' on TVE

After many years at Mediaset España, the Catalan presenter Jordi González has returned to Televisión Española to lead the Lazos de Sangre program in the summer season.

It should be noted that the journalist's first steps on television in 1990 were on the public channel with the 3x4 program, a project that opened endless doors for him and made him a communication star in our country. Since said space ended, Gonzaléz has gone through many channels (Antena 3, 8tv, Telecinco, Canal Sur, TV3...), but he only returned to work in La 1 in a timely manner in The escalator, around the year 2000 .

Televisión Española has thrown the house out of the window this summer and has put the batteries to have a competitive prime time and obtain good audience data, something that it has achieved, since it has surpassed Telecinco and has positioned itself as the second most seen in July.

The Grand Prix, The Bridge of Lies, José Mota Live Show, Blood Ties with Jordi González... The leaders of RTVE are clear that it is time to bet and take risks, which is why they have spared no expense.

But, how much does González have left over for presenting the program that honors and remembers a famous person from our country every week? According to TVienes, a portal dedicated to news on the small screen, the Catalan charges 15,000 euros for each of the episodes of the program. The total sum would amount to about 90,000 euros, since González signed six episodes with the production company Tesseo Producciones.

TVienes has had access to this information after carrying out a public consultation on the presenter's salary. It should be noted that, for some months now, RTVE has been required by law to respond as a public medium to requests made to it through the Council for Transparency and Good Governance.

Although Blood Ties works well on the public chain, the Grand Prix thing has been the success of the year. The program presented by Ramón García has achieved in its two broadcasts an audience of over 24% of the screen share and 2.5 million viewers, a very good figure if we take into account that we are in the period with the lowest television consumption of the year.

The project that recovers the mythical television program has cost RTVE 3.8 million euros, 542,800 euros per episode. Although the expense is above the average for the channel, the results show that it is worth it, since they double the average share of the chain.
