They find the lifeless body of soap opera actor Jefferson Machado in a trunk buried in Brazil

Well-known Brazilian soap opera actor Jefferson Machado has been found dead in Brazil. The lifeless body of the interpreter, whose disappearance was reported four months ago, was found last Monday locked in a trunk and buried at a considerable depth under a cement slab in the patio of a private house in Campo Grande.

An event that has shocked the country, and that, as announced by Jairo Magalhães, the actor's family lawyer, only demonstrates the "cruelty" that still exists in today's society.

According to the R7 news channel, the actor had been missing since last January. Magalhães also noted that the body showed signs of strangulation and was identified thanks to fingerprints. In addition, the lawyer also confirmed that the lifeless body of the actor had a "line" on the neck.

"Her arms were tied behind her head and buried in a trunk very similar to the ones in her own house," the lawyer told Record TV Rio, adding that the place where the body had been found would have been a residence rented by a Machado's friend, who is currently being investigated.

The actor's family reported his disappearance on January 27, after they realized that his pets, eight dogs that the interpreter kept at home, were abandoned, something inappropriate for him.

His mother, Maria Das Dores, was one of the first to suspect that something was wrong. According to her, someone "spoofed" the identity of her son before her disappearance. The woman regrets that her son had such a cruel death. "He is macabre," the woman cried, speaking to R7. For her, everything had to be "deliberate" or "planned": "It was for pleasure, for money, for envy. Nobody knows, there is nothing human in a person like that."

Something in which Cintia Hilsendeger, a childhood friend of the actor, agrees, who is convinced that the suspect in the crime was an acquaintance of Machado, who would have even tried to sell the furniture from the actor's house.

"He is a murderer, a bandit, a psychopath. I hope they arrest them, that they punish them and that they suffer what they have to suffer, because it is very sad for a mother to see her son like this," his mother lamented.

Machado was very popular in Brazil, where he enjoyed a solid career, especially in the field of soap operas; but also as a journalist, producer and model. One of her last and best-known works was Reis, precisely from Record TV, in which she played a philistine.
