Cruz, after the initial confusion, glimpses in this gesture the possibility that both of them will finally leave the palace, changing the course of things.
Meanwhile, Santos, the new lackey, presents himself to the rest of the staff as an arrogant and narcissistic person, showing his darker side. However, his attention is especially focused on Vera, whom he repeatedly praises with compliments.
On the other hand, Virtues violently confronts Candela for having revealed her deception in front of her mother, accusing her of being an absent mother who has no right to intervene in her life.
