Edurne confesses her phobia after a bad experience in a pool: "Since that day I can't handle them"

The singer Edurne has once again left her followers completely amazed with her peculiar anecdotes. After revealing a few weeks ago in El Hormiguero the most impressive secrets of her wedding with David de Gea, in which she ''kidnapped'' her guests and jumped on a zip line, the Amores Dormidos interpreter opened up this past Tuesday, May, about one of his great phobias.

A few hours ago the artist visited the Movistar program Ilustres Ignorantes, where she revealed one of her most traumatic experiences with a tiny insect: ants. And what was initially going to be a quiet summer afternoon with her friends in a pool, turned into a complete nightmare with which she has developed a great phobia towards those harmless animals.

''I can't even see them, it's one thing,'' the singer began by saying. ''One day at the pool I was with my friends, playing quietly, and typically outside the fence I ran into a friend. I approached, we were talking, telling each other our lives... and I started scratching my leg without looking,' she explained.

Suddenly, Edurne realized that she had unluckily stepped on an anthill and the ants began to climb up her leg to attack her. ''I was in a swimsuit and my leg was black and red from all the black and red ants that were biting me. "I ran to the pool, I'm sorry for the people who were there, but I jumped in and drowned them all," she said.

Since that fateful summer day, the woman from Madrid has been unable to be close to these insects. ''Since that day, I can't handle the ants. Even if they are small. Worse than with spiders. Horrible, horrible,' he said. Moments later, the presenters of the program joked that the singer had visited El Hormiguero on several occasions and she confessed, laughing, that "they are the only ants I can stand."

On the professional front, the singer is in one of her best moments, focused on finishing her eighth album, of which we have already been able to hear the first preview, Nada. In addition, the artist announced a few weeks ago that she was leaving the Got Talent program to focus on her musical career, although since then there have been many rumors that place her in the new edition of La Voz Kids.
