The fifth day of protests in front of the national headquarters of the PSOE against a potential amnesty law has left shocking images on the networks. One of the most popular was carried out by Javier Bastida, a journalist from La Sexta, who was in charge of covering the demonstration on Ferraz Street in Madrid.
On Monday, the reporter received a series of insults from some protesters, something that occurred again during his speech for El Intermedio this Tuesday. In the images that have gone viral, Bastida is once again the target of insults, but this time she decides not to remain silent.
"You piece of faggot, what liars you are, you're telling lies. You piece of faggot, who's carrying who, eh?" are the words that a protester dedicates to the reporter live, provoking a response from Bastida.
The journalist, far from resorting to violence, has decided to respond to the protesters with a touch of humor: "Well, look, you're a complete faggot, that's the only reason you have," said the reporter, while continuing his reporting work.
As expected, the journalist's genuine response has been applauded on social networks: "It seems incredible that you still have to hear these types of comments from 'characters', so to speak, which adds up to not letting a colleague inform" points out a user.
