The reaction of Daniel Sancho's family to the testimony of the man who denounced Edwin Arrieta for harassment

The case of the murder of Edwin Arrieta allegedly by Daniel Sancho on a Thai island in early August continues to make headlines. The son of the well-known Spanish actor Rodolfo Sancho remains in Koh Samui prison waiting for the trial to be held for the murder and dismemberment of the body of the renowned Colombian surgeon.

But until the trial date arrives, the Thai police continue working on the case report and everything indicates that it will be delivered to the Prosecutor's Office this September. Since then, new information and testimonies have come to light related to this high-profile case, which has managed to go around the world.

The last big news, which has turned the case upside down, has been the testimony of a man who denounced Edwin Arrieta for harassment and blackmail almost twenty years ago. We were able to learn about this new twist thanks to the Antena 3 program Y Ahora Sonsoles, where the presenter herself was able to interview in person the protagonist who suffered these events.

The complainant, named Luis and whose identity has been preserved at all times, recounted on the set of the Antena 3 space his horrible experience with the surgeon and how he became obsessed with him, to the point of allegedly beating him for not listen to him. And although he did not justify the crime allegedly committed by Daniel Sancho, he confessed that he did understand the ordeal that he had experienced.

''I identified with him so much because Edwin threatened, attacked and coerced me. It could have happened to me if I didn't set the limit for Edwin, I think he would be in Daniel's position or Edwin's. I identified with him, but without justifying what happened,'' Luis said.

The harsh testimony has not gone unnoticed by anyone, least of all by the Spanish chef's family, who have already issued their first reactions through their spokesperson, Ramón Chippirrás, who this Wednesday went to the Espejo Público set to communicate the first impressions of the parents of the alleged murderer.

''The only thing we have to say, after speaking with the Sancho family, is that it will be the Thai lawyer who will decide whether or not this testimony can be used in the defense of the case,'' the spokesperson said.
