The promise that Pedro Sánchez made to Greater Wyoming and that he should now fulfill after the elections

Pedro Sánchez has done it again. When everyone considered him 'dead' and the polls predicted a resounding fall for the PSOE in our country, the party has not only resisted but has increased the number of voters and seats. From 120 that he obtained in the 2019 elections to 122 that he achieved last Sunday, July 23 at the polls.

Although the Popular Party won the elections and was the list with the most votes with 136 seats, this defeat tastes like glory to Sánchez, since Alberto Nuñez Feijóo is not given the sums and he will not be able to form a government by agreeing with VOX.

During the electoral campaign, the leader of the socialist party visited different radio and television spaces: The Ana Rosa Program, Julia en la Onda, the La Pija y la Quinqui podcast, El Intermedio...

From his visit to the Greater Wyoming program on June 20, he highlighted the great complicity between the socialist and the presenter, who did not hesitate to joke and talk humorously about the current political situation in our country. ''If you had a superpower, what would it be? Super strength, being able to fly or making García-Page, Javier Lambán and Fernández Vara look left-wing?" he asked in a communicator sardonically, to which Sánchez responded, dodging the bullet: "I don't know... I was going to say something mean, but I don't know, that you and me...".

Wyoming interrupted the politician joking that a romantic mood was being created: ''This is taking a turn... this is a blind date. If he loses the elections, we can go to one of those islands where they lock people up."

What did not go unnoticed by the public is what the left-wing leader replied, since he promised the presenter that if he emerged victorious from 23J he would take him on his private plane: "And if I win, I invite you for a ride in the Falcon".

Although users of social networks have been sharing the video non-stop since Sunday, it was Sebas Maspons, a collaborator with the Aruser@s program, who brought it to the small screen and reminded Sánchez on national television that he has to keep his word: "Wyoming, pack your bags, Pedro Sánchez has a promise to keep."

For now, for the Socialists to be able to form a government they need the support of other parties: Sumar, Bildu, BNG, PNV, Esquerra Republicana and Junts per Catalunya. The latter is the one who has the key to governance, since it is not very clear that they are going to support the investiture of Sánchez or are going to abstain in the chamber.

The Catalan party has already communicated that they will sit down at the table to negotiate, but not that they will give in "for nothing." For his part, the current Prime Minister has declared that he will do everything possible not to repeat the elections.
