Without a doubt, the year 2023 will be remembered as the year of weddings. It seems that the famous have agreed and have decided to get married all at once. And now, the time has come for Soraya Arnelas and Miguel Ángel Herrera.
The couple has finally gone down the aisle, after having to delay it up to two times, one due to the pandemic and another due to the birth of their second daughter. And although they were secretly married at the beginning of June, it has not been until now that they have been able to celebrate it in style, surrounded by 250 guests.
The Casa Palacio Huerta del Conde in Cáceres was the place chosen by the couple to celebrate a wedding full of emotions. Manuela and Olivia, daughters of the bride and groom, both dressed in identical dresses, never left them. And it is that both Soraya and Miguel Ángel wanted their little people to also be protagonists of their most special day.
But, without a doubt, if there is a look that has won all eyes, it has been the one chosen by the bride. A white dress in silk crepe, with sleeves, a round neckline, shoulder pads, a high neck and very, very shiny, was the singer's choice to go down the aisle. A long tulle veil crowned the outfit designed by Lorena Formoso.
Although the dress was one of the protagonists, there was a detail that did not go unnoticed and that has a very special message. The singer accompanied the design with personalized sandals where the phrase could be read: "I'll wait for you in the corridor of chocolates."
While it may not seem to make sense to others, it is a key for the couple to remind themselves that they are going to meet in the afterlife. A heartfelt message that was in tune with the dominant emotion throughout the ceremony.
And it is that tears were present at all times. Miguel Ángel Herrera was one of those who spilled the most, especially when he saw Soraya dressed as a bride. The model could not contain her tears when she saw the radiant singer appear in her wedding dress and on the arm of her father.
After the ceremony, the bride and groom went through the traditional corridor of applause and petals to begin the celebration shortly after. A party that was enlivened by performances such as Chenoa, María Villalón or Cristina Ramos, also invited to the wedding.
Although Soraya loves to start singing at any time, she decided to enjoy the talent of others and become a spectator. However, she did not stop being the protagonist, since she decided to change her dress at midnight to continue enjoying the moment.
