The looks of May 2: Ayuso with a bullfighter's shoulder pad and Villacís in a historical punk plan

Neutral colors never had so much versatility. Many may think that combining them can be an easy task, but the complicated part begins when one wants to attract attention by wearing something that is precisely characterized by belonging to the "heap".

A neutral palette, where warm colors like beige, cream or brown; and cold like all the wide range of grays are absolute protagonists. The key is knowing how to play with intensities and styles, just as the two most important women in the Community of Madrid right now, Isabel Díaz Ayudo and Begoña Villacís, have done on the occasion of the Dos de Mayo festivities, wearing two outfits very different, but equally drew attention.

Iabel Díaz Ayuso wore a long, taupe-colored crepe wrap dress with a V-neckline. The president of the Community of Madrid was highly favored with her dress, which also had several pleats at the waist that slimmed her down and had a very flattering effect.

To top it off, the dress featured a central slit that allowed the politician to move freely across the stage. The outfit, signed by the Spanish brand Color Nude, had a detail on her left shoulder - a bullfighting-inspired shoulder pad with golden embroidery and jet black leather signed by the artisan house Aguja de Arte- that gave it a very appropriate Goyaesque touch for the occasion, which made the president's look one of the most applauded of the day.

Politics attended, as usual, the floral offering to the Heroes of May 2 in the La Florida cemetery, where the votive flame was lit and a laurel wreath was placed before the tombstone, before attending the surrender of honors from the War Band and a platoon from the 71st Antiaircraft Artillery Regiment. In addition, the president will wear her attire this afternoon at Las Ventas.

The deputy mayor of Madrid and Ciudadanos candidate for mayor, Begoña Villacís, arrived at the Real Casa de Correos with another outfit that has given much to talk about. Politics chose another neutral color, beige, making her shelter the protagonist, to which she added a message on the back: "This town neither surrenders nor surrenders." A phrase that alluded to his pre-campaign motto ('In Madrid we are from Villa', which plays with the last name of the vice mayor of the capital and the town of Madrid) and, incidentally, to his own situation in the face of the increasingly close May 28.

The Madrid leader accompanied her commented coat, made of thread and signed by the Swedish firm H

A dress that belongs to one of the latest collections of the Galician group, and that promises to become a bestseller, because it is not only an elegant design, it stylizes the figure and gives it a very feminine and sensual touch. In addition, the neutral color -toasted- allows its combinations to be practically infinite, depending on the style of whoever wears it.

The vice mayor left the total prominence to her clothes, opting for accessories, like the President of the Community of Madrid, in black and white. The two also chose to collect her hair with low bows, to provide her sophisticated touch.
