The Latin Grammys call out María Pombo for posing on the red carpet without permission

During the night of yesterday, Thursday, Seville and Andalusia experienced a historic event as a land musically rich in genres, heritage and successful artists. For the first time in 24 years of existence, the Latin Grammy Awards moved from the United States to Spain, filling the Fibes Congress and Exhibition Palace to capacity with audiences, singers, composers and luxury guests. However, it seems that not everyone had the approval.

This is what Adriana Dorronsoro expressed this morning in Let's see, Telecinco's morning show presented by Joaquín Prat. Apparently, a well-known figure on Spanish social networks tried to access the red carpet of the ceremony without approval, which cost him a touch of attention from the organization: “They tell me that there was an influencer that we all know , who is very famous in Spain, María Pombo tried to sneak onto the Grammys red carpet.”

“I'm not saying I wasn't invited, of course I was. But the information I get is that she tried to sneak onto the red carpet. She wanted to pose in that photocall in which only the stars who were presenting awards could pose before the media, a singer and some celebrities like Victoria Federica, who were hired by some brands," Dorronsoro reported on set, investigating the situation that occurred in Seville.

An incident that contrasts with her social networks, which show a photograph of her with her husband, Pablo Castellanos, on the aforementioned carpet. According to the Let's See collaborator, there was some insistence on the part of the influencer: “It's from another angle, she managed to stay on the red carpet... even though her attention was called on several occasions, telling her that She was not invited by the organization to stay there. But María insisted, she stayed there and took the photo.”

The photograph is included in a small compilation of the event that has more than 80,000 likes on Instagram. The comments also reminded Pombo of his incident, including some discussion of the matter. “You've messed up... they said it on TV,” said one user, who was soon refuted in an attempt to clarify the matter. What happened in this case is that he had the invitation to the event, but not permission to pose for the cameras.

“They were invited but they snuck onto that carpet. All those Latin artists don't even know who Pombo and company are. Not even Latin presenters, obviously,” noted another response in the publication. Despite this incident, María and Pablo were able to enjoy a spectacular evening full of iconic moments, such as Rosalía's performance of Se nos roto el amor, by Rocío Jurado.
