The case of Daniel Sancho is on everyone's lips. The son of actor Rodolfo Sancho traveled to Thailand and bought everything he needed to allegedly kill and dismember Edwin Arrieta, a well-known Colombian surgeon with whom he had a very complicated relationship.
Once he carried out his plan, he went to a party to later report the disappearance of his 'friend' to the authorities. Although he believed that the alleged crime was perfect, different evidence appeared incriminating him, as well as recordings in which he was seen buying everything necessary to cut up the corpse. Once some parts of the deceased were found in some bags at the landfill and DNA analysis confirmed that there were traces of the famous actor's son, he confessed everything.
Although the young man had cleaned carefully, they also found traces of the victim's DNA in the drains and furniture in the bathroom of the hotel room. Faced with so much evidence and carelessness on the part of the alleged murderer, he could not do "anything" and declared himself guilty. Although the family expressed from Spain that he had confessed due to pressure from the police, the defendant later expressed that the authorities had treated him well at all times.
However, the case has drawn the attention of millions of people around the world for different reasons. The first is because of the strange bond that united the protagonists of the story. According to Sancho, the health worker was obsessed with him and threatened to publish his intimate photos, but on another occasion he confessed that they had had sexual relations in the past. For now, it has not been confirmed who is behind this decision, since it is unknown if the prisoners have access to mobile phones or if a family member has decided to restrict access to their account.
Many network users have justified this action with the wave of hate messages that the son of the Mar de Plástico actor was receiving. Another thing that has attracted the most attention is that, although he has closed his personal account, Sancho's catering accounts and his restaurant are still public.
