More than a week has passed since the complaint against Cándido Conde-Pumpido Jr, lawyer and son of the president of the Constitutional Court, became known. The lawyer was accused of sexual assault by a woman, something for which he was arrested and later released without precautionary measures.
The reason why the judge made this decision lies in the evidence that the lawyer provided to defend himself against the accusations. Conde-Pumpido provided some images obtained from the security cameras of her home, where the events reported by the woman occurred, and which came to light this Wednesday.
The images were initially published by El Mundo and, on television, the Antena 3 program And Now Sonsoles has also shown them. "You are out of control," the son of the president of the Constitutional Court is heard saying, who could not have a conversation with the woman, of Brazilian origin, as he does not speak Spanish.
The complainant spent 9 hours inside Conde-Pumpido's house. The first video fragments show the lawyer in the kitchen, around one in the morning, before she appears wearing a coat and barefoot. At that moment, only the two of them are in the house.
According to the story to which the Sonsoles Ónega program has had access, it is at four in the morning when a third person appears in the kitchen, "a man drinking from a cup with his jacket in his hand." Three hours later, new images from Conde-Pumpido's room show the man lying in bed while she, now wearing different clothes, covers him with the duvet.
The woman walks around the room several times and, at one point, points directly at the video surveillance camera that records the entire sequence. She is also seen conversing with the lawyer although, since they do not share a language, understanding is very complicated. Already during the day, they both appear again talking in the kitchen. Three minutes of video from a total of 9 hours they spent together in the house.
