The Grand Prix continues its tour of Spain and these will be its next two towns to face each other

After an eighteen-year absence, the Summer Grand Prix returned in style. The remembered contest presented by Ramón García returned to the antenna of La 1 de Televisión Española this past Monday, creating a great impact on social networks and considerable audience data. At the moment two of the eight towns have already participated, so it is the turn of a new duo.

This coming Monday, July 31, starting at 10:35 p.m., Ramon García, Michelle Calvó and Cristinini will once again be in charge of the contest in their second program of 2023. For this new installment, the locations chosen to face each other will be Brión (A Coruña) and Yepes (Toledo). In addition, they will have two luxury guests to sponsor them: Carolina Iglesias on behalf of the Galicians and Goyo Jiménez on behalf of the people of La Mancha.

On this occasion, the tests will differ slightly from those between Alfacar (Granada) and Colmenarejo (Madrid). There will be new games debuting for the first time in the contest, as is the case of La Guardería, Abejas a lo Loco, Gaviotas Malotas, Tiro al penguipato and Alicia en el país de las caidillas. All of them ready to test for Wilbur, who will also return to the set.

The main objective of the program in this second installment will be to maintain the good trend achieved in the premiere. The return of the Grand Prix to television screens resulted in an overwhelming 26.1% audience share, bringing together close to two and a half million viewers. This earned it the best new release of the year badge, a fact that was also reflected in the demographics.

And it is that the program devastated among different age groups, according to the consulting company Dos30. 40.2% of viewers between 4 and 12 years old watched the program; 36% among those between the ages of 13 and 24; and 46.1% in the group of adults between 25 and 44 years. Very positive figures that will face criticism of some details of the new presentation and another competitor: the premiere of Días Mejores on Telecinco.

A total of eight towns are participating in the Grand Prix this year, including one from Catalonia: the town of Cervelló, in the Baix Llobregat region, has been chosen to represent the province of Barcelona in this competition. It has a population of 9,307 inhabitants according to the 2022 records, and is located near other centers such as Sant Vicenç dels Horts, Sant Feliu de Llobregat and Molins de Rei.
