The evidence with which Daniel Sancho's defense wants to demonstrate that there was no premeditation

The countdown to the trial of Daniel Sancho has started. The Spaniard, accused of murdering Edwin Arrieta in Thailand, has yet to be tried in the court of the Asian country and his trial could be imminent, always depending on what the prosecutor determines. This had ruled an extension in order to analyze the police data and prepare his report of conclusions.

For this reason, the defense of Rodolfo Sancho's son has also gotten to work and has prepared a parallel document to try to demonstrate that there was no premeditation in the crime allegedly committed by Daniel, and that it would be decisive in the sentence to which could face.

The programs Así es la vida, and Mañaneros, on Telecinco and La 1 respectively, have had exclusive access to the content of the report prepared by the Balfagón y Chipirrás law firm, with lawyer Carmen Balfagón at the helm. The objective is to avoid the death penalty that could result if treachery is proven in the murder of Arrieta, something for which different evidence is provided.

The first of them establishes that Daniel Sancho would have bought both the knife and the saw to use them as a chef, given that they have great application in Thai cuisine. Furthermore, the report states that the saw "is not the most suitable for dismembering a corpse" and that for that purpose he would have chosen "a butcher's saw."

The third test has to do with garbage bags. The report states that the ones that were purchased were different from what has been said and, furthermore, in Thailand they are used for different purposes: "as a rain cover, a clothing protector in the kitchen or to cover personal belongings when going out to sea, among others," the document says, and that he acquired them "with the intention of using them in restoration activities."

In addition to this evidence, Daniel Sancho's lawyer, media man Marcos García Montes, could travel to Thailand to help reinforce the evidence presented by the office of Balfagón, Rodolfo's lawyer. This was announced in the same program by one of his collaborators, Ángela Portero.
