Sergio Rico is rebuilding his life little by little after the downturn he went through just a few months ago. The footballer spent 83 days admitted to the Virgen del Rocío Hospital in Seville after suffering an accident with a horse during the El Rocío pilgrimage. Such was the severity of what happened that he spent 37 days in the Intensive Care Unit fighting to move forward.
And the diagnosis was not very favorable. As a result of the blow, the Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper suffered a head injury. "Give thanks to my wife, who above all has spent 20 hours a day with me and the truth is that I am very grateful. And without this support it would not have been possible," he assured the press upon his departure. Now, he is very happy with the future arrival of his first child.
Less than a year after what happened, Sergio Rico's life is being put back together and it is bringing him joy. "Like the ray of light after the storm... that's how you come into our lives baby," they announced on his social networks. "We still don't know you and we already love you...", they added.
An announcement that has not ceased to cause controversy. And the news of the pregnancy was leaked before they could communicate it as they wanted. For this reason, Alba Silva denied it. Something that she had to clarify later. "I never denied the news, what I denied were the statements that did not come from me," she assured one of her followers.
"Anyone who knows me knows that I wouldn't have told it at that moment, much less in that way, I just would have liked them to have respected our times," he added. However, after the storm has passed, it seems that the couple has already decided to talk about this openly.
So much so, that the footballer's wife did not hesitate to publish on her Instagram account the video of the moment in which Sergio Rico found out the news along with the phrase: "You are going to be the best dad in the world."
"Sit here and lift my shirt," the influencer can be heard saying in the images in which the two appear in the garden with their two dogs. "Really?" is the first thing Sergio Rico says when faced with this good news. And on Alba Silva's belly you can read "Hello dad."
