The big day has come. Benidorm hosts this Saturday night the final of the Benidorm Fest, the festival whose winner will be the representative of Spain in Eurovision 2024. In the case of Spain, there have been eight finalists. The first to perform in Benidorm this Saturday was María Peláe, who had an emotional moment after finishing her performance.
María Peláe is, among all the candidates to represent Spain in Eurovision this year, one of the artists who has the most charts. The woman from Malaga has been in the world of music since she was 13 years old, and apart from her career as a singer, she has composed great songs, such as Arde, the song with which Aitana ran to represent Spain in 2018. This Saturday, María burst into the Benidorm Fest with her song Remitente, a flamenco song one hundred percent faithful to her passion and roots that already makes your hair stand on end from the first measure. An unconditional fan of Rocío Jurado, the woman from Malaga demonstrated her flamenco voice and gave an impeccable performance that left the entire audience with their mouths open, especially because of her "claw."
The beginning of the performance, the first of all, was marked by her staging with the guitar and a set based on a hallway of crosses, as well as by four dancers who accompanied her during her performance in a fusion of music and unmatched interpretation. At one point in the show, the dancers have imprisoned Peláe, not allowing her to move, further increasing the emotion that the artist wanted to convey.

On the other hand, a gesture from the artist moved at the end of her performance. After finishing singing, Peláe approached her dancers and pounced on each of them to give them a hug as a sign of gratitude. The artist was clear that they are a fundamental part of her performance and her achievements.
