First Dates returns to the fray for one more night. The dating program presented by Carlos Sobera has welcomed single men and women, who have come to space to find love. But sometimes diners live a very different experience than what they imagined. Something similar is what Mariluz and Antonio have experienced.
Mariluz is 55 years old, is a telephone salesperson and comes from Malaga. ''I am a Christian, I like to attend mass, I have traditional values, the Osborne bull defines Spain a lot,'' she confessed. In love she has not had much luck. She has a daughter from her previous marriage. She wanted a man of values and who was a gentleman.
Antonio is 52 years old, he is a VTC driver and comes from Malaga. He considers himself a very empathetic person. ''People who are with me say that I am a very nice person,'' he confessed. "He seemed to me to be a very beautiful woman, with a tremendous style," said the bachelor when he saw his date. Antonio told him how old she was and he assumed that she was younger than him. ''No, don't look so good, go on,'' she told him. ''I mean it, you look like it. He doesn't believe me, he is treating me as a liar,'' he assured.
The appointment began with the single woman confessing her age. Antonio couldn't believe that she was older than him. ''She seems to me a very serene and very calm woman,'' declared the bachelor. The two agreed that they had a good relationship with their ex-partners.
At one point during dinner, Mariluz was very interested in the political ideas that the bachelor had. Antonio considered himself a progressive person, on the left. Something that has kept him from being single. ''I'm a bit of ancient traditions,'' she confessed. Suddenly Mariluz choked and asked for a glass of water. ''Please quickly because I'm dying. I'm going to be a widower before I have a girlfriend,'' declared the bachelor.
During the date, the two have shown that they have gotten along very well, but not enough to start a love story. Suddenly, the two began to talk about menopause, something that the bachelor did not quite understand. ''Are you still having desire?'', he asked her. ''But the man that you believe that women stay dead?'', she replied. The spinster told him that she now has the same desire or even more than before. In the final decision, the two rejected each other because they had not felt the spark of love.
