The bullfighter Juan Ortega cancels his wedding in Jerez de la Frontera half an hour before the wedding

Although a wedding should be one of the main reasons for celebration in one's life, there are many couples who feel nervous or stressed when it comes to the moment of truth. This is the case of the Sevillian bullfighter Juan Ortega, who called his partner from the hotel where he was resting to tell him, supposedly, according to different sources, that he had "doubts" about this marriage.

The guests were already arriving at the church and the bride was beginning to get dressed when the bullfighter thought it was right to stop the wedding. This has been revealed by the ABC media in Seville. The bullfighter had planned to marry his long-time girlfriend in Jerez de la Frontera, the young doctor's birthplace, however, he had decided not to go ahead with the wedding.

According to various sources to the aforementioned media, the bullfighter would have let the bride know that "he has doubts" about this marriage, which is why he has asked to suspend the marriage. This surprised everyone, since it happened one day after the pre-wedding ceremony among friends and family. The news has fallen like a bucket of cold water on the guests, who were already prepared for the wedding, especially on the bride's family, who "can't believe what happened."

The truth is that the alarms had already gone off two weeks before the wedding, when the bullfighter was caught twice in the Ecuadorian plaza of Lacatunga by a Huagrahuasi bull, in hand-to-hand combat with Roca Rey. The right-hander then had to go to the doctor after suffering "severe bruises to his body and jaw, as well as broken two teeth."

In the Ecuadorian medical services report, they announced a "less serious" prognosis that allowed him to continue fighting his second bull. However, it would not have been a work accident that would have prevented him from passing through the altar this Saturday, but rather his own doubts. We will have to wait to find out more details about this story and to know if, finally, the bullfighter will pass through the altar.
