The answer that Alessandro Lequio gave to his son when he expressed his desire to be a father

Ana Obregón surprised all of Spain when on April 29 the magazine ¡Hola! published the exclusive of the motherhood of the actress by surrogate pregnancy practiced in a clinic in Miami. Then the news that arrived a week later was not suspected: the daughter was actually her granddaughter. Obregón explained that her late son Aless Lequio had expressed the wish to be a father days before he died and that she thus responded to her last wishes.

It was expected that the publication of the book The boy with the shrews would give more details on this issue. And Ana Obregón explains the conversation that Aless had with his parents while he was admitted to the Barcelona clinic where he died on May 13, 2020, a victim of cancer.

In the last chapter, the presenter reproduces her son's words: “Mom, Dad… if something happens to me, remember the sample I left in the laboratory in New York. I want to have children, even if I'm not around. It is my wish… Promise me that you will do it… Please…”.

The first to respond to this plea was Obregón, who agreed to the request. "If that's what you want to hear, I swear!" At this point, the presenter recounts: "You stared at your father waiting for an answer." And this one came right after. According to Obregón's writing, Alessandro Lequio assured: "I swear it too."

The book does not go further nor does it speak of any holographic will. Of course, this issue comes to the fore again when the aristocrat somehow saves the life of Obregón, who recounts a suicide attempt on the same day the death of their son, when she was locked in her room on the floor that they had rented in Barcelona. Lequio knocks on her door and asks her to open it. Before the silence, she pronounces a sentence that makes Obregón react: “Do you remember what Aless asked us, his last will”.

The businesswoman and veterinarian continues to explain that she decided to live to fulfill this request of her son. “I swore to you in the hospital that I would fulfill your last wish, and that miracle has come true,” she writes. And she ends the book with a declaration of intent: “Now I want to live myself. For your daughter. For my granddaughter. For you".
