Terelu Campos is one of the television figures who has been the most in the spotlight of talk shows and covers in recent weeks. Since her mother died last September, the family environment has been relatively cloudy. Now, in addition, the television collaborator is on another crusade, in this case against her health. She has announced it through her blog in Lecturas magazine, What I never told. An occurrence that the affected person already mentioned to her followers in the previous week's entry. As she explained, it was an oral operation that kept her out of her home for seven hours.
“Last week I finished the blog saying that when you read these pages I would find myself in an operating room. The time has come to tell you what happened to me, because I have been through an ordeal with my mouth. I think that, on some occasion, I have confessed to you that I have a periodontal problem or, so that everyone understands me, a gum disease,” he explained at the beginning of his writing.
Terelu clarifies that this situation “was aggravated by my chemotherapy treatments,” and that she began to feel worse on MasterChef. “I have had moments of falling out a tooth almost while traveling. I have been holding on, as best I can, having a public job like mine in which the face, mouth and teeth are fundamental. When I had everything closed so that the doctors could see me and find a solution to this problem, two days before my mother died and I had to paralyze everything,” he commented.
A discomfort that has also prevented him from concentrating on preparing his next project, Bake Off: Baked Famous People. “Right now, I am in a sprint after the oral surgery, which I had last Wednesday, at the Santa Elena Hospital in Madrid. I want to thank Dr. Blanco and his entire team: Cristina, Emilio, Isidro and the rest of the staff who have taken care of me with all the care possible,” he expressed.
“I got rid of all my teeth to put them all new and good. I am still in a recovery process. I'm still swollen and it's hard for me to talk. They say it's normal, but it's not in vain that I spent seven hours in an operating room. I know that the result is good and provisional. I hope the final one is even more spectacular. Entering the door of a hospital was a very complicated memory for me,” the collaborator concluded.
