Taylor Swift's trick to avoid getting her lips read while gossiping at the Grammys

There is nothing like a good sauce. Tell it to Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift, who saw how gossiping for just a few seconds can overshadow the Golden Globes ceremony. The two friends indulged in gossip and, just a few seconds later, there were already hundreds of interpretations on social networks about what they had said to each other.

Taylor Swift attended the Grammy Awards on Sunday night, and perhaps so that her big moment would not be overshadowed by gossip - the artist was nominated for no less than six awards - she decided to be cautious beforehand and take measures so that nothing nor could anyone see what he said to the people around him.

The singer was sitting at the table next to her trusted producer and friend, Jack Antonoff, musician from The Bleachers; and the singer Lana del Rey, with whom she exchanged several confidences throughout the night. Now, no one found out what they were saying, because Taylor Swift had an unexpected gossip-proof weapon: a fan.

Thus, the Midnight Rain performer held her fan whenever she spoke to any of her friends, at mouth level, to prevent anyone from reading her lips in case she was focused on with a camera.

A simple and effective trick, since the black lace fan that the artist was carrying prevented anyone from discovering what she was talking about. An occurrence that was applauded by her followers on social networks, who could not help but compare the moment with what they experienced at the last Golden Globes ceremony.

Lana del Rey, for her part, also carried a black fan that she did not hesitate to use, like Swift, whenever she wanted to say something to someone.

"Taylor is always full of tricks and surprises," wrote one of her followers on X (former Twitter), while another noted that "it's over for those who read lips." Of course, as a third person managed to say, the fan could perfectly well be nicknamed "The Fan of Secrets", because, who knows what was told - and about whom - that night.
