'Survivors' sweeps its premiere and confirms that the audience missed the format

Yesterday, March 7, a new edition of Supervivientes began on Telecinco, Mediaset España's star program in which all kinds of public figures from our country have participated: Isabel Pantoja, Chelo García Cortés, Sonia Monroy, Marta Peñate, Carla Barber, Tony Genil, etc.

There was great expectation for the premiere of the new season, since the network had announced that there would be different changes on the set, in the graphics, in the palapa... In addition, Jorge Javier Vázquez returned to the small screen after a few months hard times in which he suffered the cancellation of Sálvame and Cuentos Chinos, so thousands of viewers were waiting to see how he was going to face this new challenge.

The reception of the presenter (both on set and on social networks) was overwhelming and showed the leadership of the communication group that the audience greatly misses Belén Esteban's friend on national television.

Happy and content to be in the middle again, the Catalan philologist led the way in an agile gala in which spectators were able to enjoy the now legendary helicopter jumps and a spectacular gymkhana through the mud.

On this occasion, those responsible for casting the survival reality show wanted to have a very diverse group of contestants: Blanca Manchón, Kike Calleja, Javier Ungría, Ángel Cristo Junior, Rubén Torres, Rocío Madrid, Carmen Borrego, Pedro García Aguado, Aurah Ruiz, Mario González, Claudia Martínez, Miri Pérez, Lorena Marlote, Gorka Ibarguren, Arantxa del Sol, Zayra Gutiérrez and Arkano.

The first gala of the program was marked by the presentation of the new survivors, but there was one contestant who stood out above the others: Carmen Borrego. Terelu Campos' sister thrilled the audience with an incredible jump and made the audience laugh out loud covered in mud, something that hundreds of people thanked on social networks.

It is known to all that Telecinco is going through a ratings crisis and that, many times, it is content with being the third most watched network in different time slots. For this reason, there were many nerves about whether the public would pay attention to Survivors or if reality would be a new failure for Mediaset.

Once yesterday's data has been revealed, the leaders of the communication group have been very satisfied to learn that the first gala of the contest led its slot with a spectacular 21.7% screen share and 1,645,000 viewers on average .
