Shakira and Piqué reach a new agreement for the good of their children

Shakira and Gerard Piqué were two of the great protagonists of 2023 due to their continuous poisonous darts related to their breakup and their incessant disputes over the custody of their two children, Sasha and Milan. And although both are focused on a new stage of their lives, their destiny will always be united, and not only because of their children, but also because of their birthday.

And the singer and the former soccer player celebrate this Friday, February 2, their 47th and 37th birthdays respectively. And although they have been celebrating it under the same roof for more than a decade, this year will be the second year that they blow out the candles separately.

However, it seems that the ex-couple has decided to start 2024 with a totally different attitude. According to what journalist Pepe del Real revealed in the Telecinco program Vamos a Ver, the artist and the athlete had reached a new agreement for the good of their children.

Since their high-profile breakup, Shakira and Piqué have been involved in various controversies that suggested that their relationship was not going through a great moment. But it seems that the wounds are already more than healed and both have finally decided to bury the hatchet that has caused them so much trouble these last two years.

As the Telecinco collaborator explained, Shakira and Piqué would have reached a truce motivated by the complicated situations they have gone through, such as the delicate state of health of the Colombian's father or the man who harassed Shakira and her children in the vicinity of her house in Miami.

''The ex-couple has regained contact. They message each other on WhatsApp to talk about issues related to her children,' she declared. In this way, the artist and the ex-bluagrana would have decided to dispense with legal intermediaries, which were her only means of communication a few months ago. ''Shakira is so willing to step on the brakes that she would have lifted the veto that prohibited Clara Chía from being under the same roof as her children. Maybe we are facing the end of Shakira's era in which she got involved with everything that had to do with her ex,' the journalist assured.
