Rosa Peral's father: ''My daughter is not capable of killing a fly. She has no evil"

The crime committed by the Urban Police continues to be talked about in the different media. And the murder that took place six years ago has returned to the center of the media spotlight due to the recent premiere of the series The Body on Fire on Netflix and the simultaneous premiere of the documentary The Tapes of Rosa Peral.

The fiction based on the events that occurred on May 1, 2017 narrates the brutal crime of urban police officer Pedro Rodríguez at the hands of Rosa Peral, his then partner, and his patrol partner, Albert López. Both were sentenced to prison for murdering and burning the policeman's body in his car in the Foix reservoir. The documentary, for its part, shows Rosa Peral's version narrated from prison.

Peral was sentenced to 25 years in prison and her partner, Albert López, must serve a 20-year prison sentence. The different audiovisual projects and the possibility that the case could be reopened three years after the trial took place have helped the media case to once again unleash a great stir today.

To this we must add that the Antena 3 program And Now Sonsoles has been able to exclusively interview Rosa's father, Francisco Peral. The father of the urban guard entered the set very excited.

Throughout the interview, Francisco Peral wanted to emphasize his daughter's innocence and that "there is no conclusive evidence that proves that Rosa Peral committed the murder." ''Rosa had it as easy as saying, I'll take my suitcase and leave. Rosa had no problem leaving Pedro. He had a job, custody of his daughters, his car, his motorcycle, a good salary to live on and he had his house and he had no problem, only kicking Pedro out of his house if he bothered him if he wanted to return to Albert,'' he claimed.

''Pedro's case was so easy, the same thing he entered would have left. Without complicating life. A person who is not able to kill a fly, who has two dogs, because he loves animals. "That person has no evil," confessed Francisco Peral. ''Rosa, in the eleven years that she has been in the Urban Police, she has not had any records,'' he added. Regarding his prison changes in these five years, the father assured that Rosa had left each of the prisons with a record of good behavior.

''Rosa was there because it was her house, she was not there by chance. And the other man is the one who came and jumped the fence and then wanted to get away with it. For you to plot a murder in your own case is illogical. There were days that he had without the girls and he is going to wait until day 1 when they both come... These are things that don't fit into anyone's head. There is someone out there who is not interested in Rosa speaking,' he asserted. ''I'm going to continue fighting and as long as I live I'm going to be there,'' she concluded.
