But, recently, they packed their bags to move into a mansion in New Canaan, which belonged to singer-songwriter Paul Simon, with 820 square meters, six rooms and a thirteen-hectare lot.
The couple lead a quiet life in New Canaan, away from the bustle of the Big Apple. According to this medium, there they enjoy their free time among horses, orchards and an idyllic private lake. An oasis that could be exchanged for Madrid.
Gere and Silva met in 2014. It was in Positano, on the Amalfi coast (Italy), at the exclusive Hotel Ville Treville, which she ran at the time. They got married in 2018. Before their marriage, the actor was the father of Homer (23 years old). She was also the mother of Albert (11 years old). They have several children together. The first, Alexander, who was born in 2019. Later, another child came into their lives, whose name has not been disclosed.
Beyond their visits to Spain, it is common to see the couple in Mexico. There, they have just fulfilled one of their dreams, opening a luxury sustainable residential complex in an exclusive 1,200-hectare paradise called Xala, located on the Costalegre of Jalisco.
