Preview of chapter 409 of 'Tell me how it happened' this Wednesday: Toni's complications

Tell me how it happened, you're about to say goodbye forever. The legendary series that has accompanied Spanish television for the last two decades is currently broadcasting season 23, with which it intends to say goodbye in style. And each of the seven chapters is dedicated to one of the most important characters in fiction.

Although the first two episodes were a tribute to Mercedes and Inés, now it is the turn of Toni, the eldest son of the Alcántara, with the title of Toni. The witness.

It is 1996 and Toni is fully immersed in the electoral campaign for the general elections. The surveys they have so far show that José María Aznar has been strengthened and hinders the trajectory of Felipe González. Carlos's brother is immersed in a spiral of complications both within the campaign and outside.

At the same time, problems at home bring him to his senses. Having to meet her family means he can't do everything. But things get complicated when an unexpected event comes into Toni's life and changes everything.

Despite being a chapter focused on the character of Pablo Rivero, the rest of the Alcántara family also has its share of prominence. On the one hand, Mercedes sees how globalization brings many problems to her business and believes that she cannot compete with large companies.

Antonio has to ask Toni for help with his vineyards when he receives news that will change everything. Inés, worried about her son, sees how Oriol's future is taking shape. And finally, María becomes involved in the Manos Blancas movement.

Tell me how it happened has become, over the years, TVE's longest-running series, and one of its flagships. Although Mercedes and Inés have already had their farewell chapter, and Toni will have it this week, the farewells of María, Antonio, Carlos and Herminia remain ahead.

Some episodes that span from 1994 to 2001, and that, without a doubt, will be a hard ending for many. With these last episodes, a total of 413 will have been recorded, where 2,000 actors and more than 20,000 extras have participated.
