Finally, the palace staff has discovered Vera, who had fled with the help of Lope from her abusive father and is now being questioned by Pía, who has asked her who she is and where she came from, since she does not know her story.
On the other hand, Pelayo is increasingly on the ropes after Cavendish has proposed an even more ambitious plan to place an order in the palace itself.
