Omar Montes's harsh childhood marked by bullying: "I fell unconscious"

One more night, Let yourself be loved has landed on Telecinco. On this occasion, Omar Montes has visited the set of the program presented by Paz Padilla to surprise one of her biggest fans; Aaron, a child who has suffered bullying.

In addition, the artist has been honest about various aspects of his life. Omar has confessed that he suffered bullying and that he had a very bad time. That is why the artist wanted to send a message to all children who may be going through a similar situation: "You have to stand up to the aggressor", he has assured.

Getting to success has not been an easy path for Omar Montes. His life has been marked by many difficult moments. From a very young age, he was the target of bullies who made his life miserable. Omar comes from a very humble, hard-working family that has not had an easy life and that has also had to heal the scars of a terrifying past marked by bullying and bullying.

“Boxing saved me… Many say that you have to accept yourself and you have to be good with yourself but I couldn't accept myself. Fat gypsy, Moor... I had everything for bullying. Speaking clearly, I have suffered a lot”, commented Omar, visibly serious.

The singer has recounted one of the episodes of harassment he suffered: “They were playing ball and suddenly a boy grabbed my ball and threw it at me in the cemetery. He was climbing the wall of the cemetery and when he was about to jump, a boy pushed me and I fell on my face. I almost killed myself, I was unconscious for ten minutes. My mother and my grandmother crying until they found me," Omar said.

“You have to stand up to the aggressor and cut him off. It's not a sneaky thing to ask for help. In the neighborhoods they say that if you ask for help you are a snitch, but it is not like that. Asking for help is not for cowards”, Omar assured.

''My neighborhood was a complicated neighborhood, we've been through a lot of fatigue. I grew up in a shack with my grandmother, my grandfather and my mother. I had my little blue tub in which they bathed me in the patio and all the children saw me,'' Omar confessed about what his life was like. “Sometimes, if you ate, for example, you didn't have dinner. My mother has gone crazy asking for help, another thing is that she did not help her as much as she needed since there are many people in need and more in those neighborhoods. Later, when they pulled down the shacks, they gave us a flat in Carabanchel,'' the singer explained excitedly.

Aaron, the surprised boy, has also explained some problems with one of his classmates. Omar has not hesitated in wanting to support and intervene in this bullying situation: "We are going to have to go to your school to talk to this friend who tripped you up." In addition, the singer has given her the gold and diamond necklace that he was wearing. Aaron and his family have been perplexed.

“It is a gift because he deserves it; for everything he has fought for. You are a prince and the greatest example of self-improvement that I have seen in the entire world. You have beautiful eyes and a beautiful smile”, Omar told Aarón. Both have melted into a heartfelt embrace.
