Just twenty-four hours after the incident, the sentence on Jade Jagger after being arrested in Eivissa is already known. The designer, daughter of the legendary leader of The Rolling Stones Mick Jagger, has been sentenced to pay a fine of 1,400 euros and another 800 in compensation after the attack on a National Police agent. Also involved in the altercation was her sentimental partner, Anthony D'wayne Dinkson, who has been sentenced to four months in jail.
The events occurred on Thursday night, in a restaurant located on Sa Creu street in Dalt Vila, the old part of the city. For reasons that are still unclear, Dinkson had a very angry reaction on the premises, and responded forcefully to the arrival of law enforcement officers. The person involved was reduced before fleeing and starting to rebuke ordinary citizens. Jagger tried to protect the couple from him, even going so far as to lash out at the policemen, which got him arrested.
The events were recorded in a video published by the Diario de Ibiza, which also includes the erratic behavior of both members of the couple. Jagger, 51, went to a luxury store to buy a gold dress valued at more than 2,000 euros from one of the restaurant's waitresses. For his part, Dinkson, 29, began arguing with passers-by before he arrived at the point of detention, which according to the statement of this witness would explain his angry reaction.
From the store where the designer bought the dress, there are also complaints and allegations of improper treatment. In the same way, they detail that Jagger came to accuse the agents of being racists for the arrest of his partner. Both have been convicted of felony assault charges, with Dinkson receiving the brunt of this complicated affair.
